About the Program

Carer Confidence Training is a practical, skills-based program designed to support carers in developing confidence, body awareness, and safe movement strategies when supporting another person.

The program focuses on everyday situations where carers may need to assist, guide, or respond calmly to unexpected movement. Sessions draw on gentle principles from movement-based disciplines such as balance, positioning, and controlled motion, without teaching restraint or physical intervention techniques.

The emphasis is on confidence, awareness, and personal safety, rather than force or control.
