About Us
Who We Are
The Cudal Enable Hub is a community-based program space supporting skill development, confidence, and participation for people of all ages and abilities.
We exist to create inclusive, practical opportunities for people to build skills, stay active, express themselves creatively, and participate meaningfully in community life. Our programs are designed to be accessible, adaptable, and welcoming, particularly for people who may not feel comfortable in traditional sporting, fitness, or training environments.
The Cudal Enable Hub operates with a strong focus on capability, inclusion, and participation, rather than competition or performance.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is simple:
To enable people to participate, build confidence, and develop practical skills in a safe, inclusive, community-based environment.
We recognise that many people — including people with disability, carers, older adults, and those living in regional communities — face barriers to participation. These barriers may be physical, social, financial, or confidence-based.
The Cudal Enable Hub aims to reduce those barriers by offering inclusive, skill-building programs that meet people where they are.
What We Do
We deliver a range of non-clinical, skill-based programs focused on:
-
Inclusive movement and physical confidence
-
Creative skill development and expression
-
Practical training for carers and community members
-
Preventative movement and confidence-building for older adults
All programs are designed to support:
-
Confidence
-
Coordination
-
Participation
-
Personal capability
-
Community connection
Our activities are not competitive, not clinical, and not therapeutic. They are participation-focused programs that support everyday skills and confidence.
Our Approach
The Cudal Enable Hub is guided by a clear set of principles:
Inclusion
Programs are designed so people of different abilities can participate together, without pressure or judgement.
Skill-Based Participation
Activities focus on learning, confidence, and capability rather than outcomes, performance, or competition.
Practical and Real-World
Skills developed through our programs are intended to support everyday confidence, movement, and participation.
Safe and Supportive
We prioritise physical and emotional safety, clear boundaries, and respectful facilitation.
Community-Focused
We operate as part of the local community, responding to local needs and encouraging connection.
Our Programs
Programs delivered through the Cudal Enable Hub include:
Inclusive Jiu-Jitsu
Gentle, adapted movement sessions focused on coordination, confidence, and personal safety — not competition.
Art for Everyone
Skill-based creative workshops supporting expression, fine motor skills, and participation.
Carer Confidence Training
Practical, non-clinical, skills-based workshops supporting carers in everyday support situations.
Safe Fall Training for Seniors
Preventative movement and confidence-building sessions designed to support mobility and reduce fear of falling (not physiotherapy).
Programs may be delivered as regular sessions, short courses, or workshops, depending on community needs.
Our Commitment to Clear Boundaries
The Cudal Enable Hub is not a clinical or therapeutic service.
Programs are delivered as skill-building and participation activities and do not replace medical, allied health, or therapeutic supports. Where appropriate, participants are encouraged to engage with registered health or support professionals for clinical needs.
This clear distinction allows us to focus on what we do best: inclusive, practical, community-based participation.
Who We Support
Our programs are open to and designed for:
-
People with disability
-
Carers and support people
-
Older adults and seniors
-
Community members seeking inclusive, accessible programs
-
People who may feel excluded from traditional sport or training environments
Programs are adapted to suit a wide range of abilities, experience levels, and comfort levels.
Looking Ahead
The Cudal Enable Hub is committed to growing responsibly, in line with community needs and values. As we develop, our focus remains on:
-
Expanding inclusive participation opportunities
-
Strengthening community connections
-
Supporting confidence and capability across all ages
-
Partnering with local organisations, schools, and community groups
We believe strong communities are built when people are supported to participate, contribute, and feel capable.
